Brookfield Hall offers a home away from home for those moving out for the first time. Brookfield has 2 dedicated buildings for 1st years which are comprised of luxurious 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments. Brookfield offers the facility for friends to share apartments if they wish. For those who may not know anyone else coming to UL Brookfield will guarantee that they will be living with other first years that are probably in the same boat.
There is a large comfortable common room with pool tables and a widescreen TV for chilling out. Here there will be in-house events held on a Wednesday night such as poker night, match nights etc. This offers the perfect opportunity to meet new people as well as an inexpensive way to have some fun.
Also even though Brookfield Hall is only a short distance from the college there is a shuttle bus which runs regularly throughout the day as well as the Nitelink in the evenings. Exclusive fixed taxi rates have been agreed with Plassey Cabs for Brookfield Hall residents meaning the cost of night out etc. is kept to a minimum. Places are reserved for 1st year students until the 18th of August so there will definitely be space left for those who aren’t sure where they’re heading until the CAO offers are out.
